AISL is a company limited by guarantee comprising five full Member organisations: Each of the above Associations produce regular publications with distribution to all members. AISL's objectives are to promote and co-ordinate responsible shooting sports, both competitive and recreational, within Australia; and to promote and co-ordinate participation in and organisation of international competitions. Target shooting is a sport which features on the program of both the Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games. In recent times Australian athletes have performed outstandingly at both. AISL is supported by the Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Olympic Committee and the Australian Commonwealth Games Association. AISL is always looking for sponsorship assistance in providing prizes for premier competitions and support for teams and individual athletes. Remember - this is an Olympic gold sport!! |
