AISL is a company limited by guarantee comprising five full Member organisations and an Associate member: Full Members: Associate Members: Most of the Associations produce regular publications with distribution to all members. AISL's objectives are to promote and coordinate responsible shooting sports, both competitive and recreational, within Australia; and to promote and coordinate participation in and organisation of international competitions. Target shooting is a sport which features on the program of both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. Australian athletes have performed outstandingly at both. AISL is supported by the Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Olympic Committee, the Australian Commonwealth Games Association and the Australian Paralympic Committee. AISL is always looking for sponsorship assistance in providing prizes for premier competitions and support for teams and individual athletes. Remember - this is an Olympic gold sport!! |
