19 events (6 Smallbore Rifle, 7 Pistol, 5 Clay Target).
The Australia Cup is an Open competition series in which all disciplines compete under the AISL banner. These competitions are the premier domestic events on the AISL calendar and provide a high level of competition for the athletes. Australia Cup Final Contested in the 15 Olympic Events (5 Rifle, 5 Pistol, 5 Clay Target).
The Australia Cup Final is an invitation-only competition for the top 10 ranking competitors in the Olympic Disciplines events from the Australia cups series in each calendar year. The Final is generally run in conjunction with a Grand prix.
The AISL is actively seeking sponsorship of these events as we seek to encourage more from our athletes and provide a showcase standard event. The Event is conducted on the Sydney International Shooting Complex which is the legacy site of the 2000 Olympic Games. International Grand Prix New to the Calendar for 2007 and follows on from the success of the Youth Nationals, this event will see all three disciplines competing on the same venue.
